Hello and welcome to The Binge Eating Dietitian Podcast!   In this week's episode, I share some balanced meal guidelines for binge and period recovery that will help you feel satisfied and full. I recommend these guidelines as a starting point for the recovery process or for people transitioning to more specific nutrition intentions after making peace with food and/or getting their periods back! In this episode, you'll learn how to use these meal guidelines along with: What I recommend if you are currently tracking macros  Finding the sweet spot with your meal serving sizes Choosing carbohydrate sources to keep you feeling fuller Fat and protein examples Making your meals tasty by using spices, oils, butter, salt, sugar, etc. Incorporating snacks throughout the day And more In this episode, it is important to note that I DO NOT recommend portion sizes or serving sizes.  Let's start by putting together what looks like a satisfying position to you on your plate, then see if that satisfies you. The focus here is on health, not perfection.  If following these guidelines leads to stress for you or keeps you from experiencing the things that make you happy and joyful, then it is no longer healthy!
