Digging DEEP and dishing alll the details of my personal experience with my ankle injury, surgery, and recovery. Injury is is such a common part of the human experience, yet is rarely talked about. When you are injured, it is very much all-encompassing and can feel exceptionally isolating. It is OK and IMPORTANT to allow yourself to feel angry, sad, and upset-- even though others have it worse. Shaming yourself for feeling, is un-productive to your healing.
