Description
The plaintiff claims he was driving out to dinner when the tailgating defendant bumped him from behind, resulting in extensive damage to his Mercedes. Now he’s suing for the costs. The defendant argues that the plaintiff slammed on the brakes out of nowhere, intentionally causing the accident. The defendant is countersuing for damages to her front bumper.
The plaintiff says the defendant refuses to give her security deposit back, so she’s suing for the money she says she’s owed. The defendant argues that the plaintiff has caused nothing but problems since she moved in, and if anyone’s owed money, the defendant says it’s definitely not her. She’s countersuing for additional repairs needed on the home.
The plaintiff says he hired the defendant’s company to inspect a house he was purchasing. The defendant gave the plaintiff a report saying everything in the house was up to code. But that wasn’t true. A plumber told him he had a big problem and needed to replace all the pipes. Now the plaintiff is suing the defendant for the cost of the new pipes and installation. The defendant argues that he runs a reputable company and thinks a rogue plumber ripped the plaintiff off and is passing the blame onto him.
