The plaintiff says she bought a car battery from the defendant, but it was a dud. She’s a mobile medical worker who needs her vehicle, so she’s suing for a refund. The defendant says it’s been a year since he sold the battery, and says the plaintiff failed to register it for a warranty.
Then, the plaintiff says she bought a refrigerator from the defendant, but it didn’t work when she got it home and would not get cold. She’s suing for a refund and the cost of spoiled food. The defendant says he claims the fridge was only four years old and worked fine.
