Description

The plaintiff loaned the defendant money to bail him out of jail and help him purchase an engagement ring. However, the plaintiff says the defendant won’t pay him back, so he is suing. The defendant insists he never asked for the money, and he believes the plaintiff only gave him the loan because he has a weird obsession with his girlfriend.
Then, the plaintiff loaned his stepdaughter money for a new transmission for her car. The plaintiff claims his stepdaughter agreed to pay him back but went on vacation to Hawaii instead, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant admits she didn’t pay back the loan in full, but that’s because the plaintiff added on illegal late fees.
Plus, the plaintiff purchased a car from the defendant, but when he went to put gas in the vehicle, the plaintiff noticed there was a hole in the tank. The plaintiff brought the car into a shop, and they told him it was unsafe to drive, so the plaintiff is suing the seller for a refund. The defendant, a certified mechanic, insists the plaintiff knew what he was getting when he purchased the 17-year-old vehicle, and he denies owing anything.
