Description

The plaintiff claims the defendant, her former roommate, asked her to have sex with him. She declined, and the guy moved multiple people into the apartment, including his mentally ill mother. Things got so bad the plaintiff had to move out. The defendant gave the plaintiff a check for the security deposit, but it bounced, so the plaintiff is suing him for the money she’s owed. The defendant argues he doesn’t owe the plaintiff a dime. He also claims the plaintiff is a promiscuous, eccentric girl who had different men in the apartment every night.
The plaintiff says her boyfriend took her car for a routine oil change, but when he picked it up, the car seized an hour later. Turns out, the defendant forgot to put an oil filter in the car, and the engine was ruined as a result. The plaintiff is suing the defendant for the damage and repairs. The defendant argues it’s impossible to have forgotten to put an oil filter in the car, and besides, the plaintiff’s car is over 20 years old and has hundreds of thousands of miles on it.
The plaintiff says she loaned the defendant money to put a patent on a tire invention of his. She’s fed up with chasing him down for the money she’s owed, so she’s suing him for the unpaid loan. The defendant claims the plaintiff just has romantic feelings for him, and there’s no actual terms or official deadlines to pay her back. Besides, he doesn’t have the money yet.
