Description

The plaintiff says the defendant is her husband, who she claims up and left her out of the blue, stole her car, and stuck her with rent payments. She’s suing for what she’s owed. The defendant says he gave his wife every penny he made working seven days a week because she told him men had no rights in the U.S. and she’d call the police on him.
The plaintiff says she shared an apartment with the defendant, and everything was fine at first. She claims the defendant stopped paying for anything and had the plaintiff arrested for battery, and now she owes the plaintiff thousands in utilities and rent, so she’s suing. The defendant says the plaintiff’s girlfriend moved in and they were supposed to split everything three ways, but that didn’t happen. She’s countersuing for unpaid rent.
The plaintiffs say they bought a 100-year-old house from the defendants. They claim the defendants promised them the fireplaces and chimneys were in good working order, but they were actually fire hazards. They’re suing for the thousands it will cost them to make repairs. The defendants claim the plaintiffs had the home inspected and all the issues were resolved, so they don’t understand why they’re now suing nine months later. They deny owing anything.
