Description

The plaintiff says she stored two new flat-screen TVs at the defendant’s home, but he sold them after she rebuffed his sexual advances. She’s suing for their value. The defendant says the plaintiff hinted that she wanted to move in with him even though he already had a girlfriend. He claims he told the plaintiff to pick up the TVs because he had no more room, but she abandoned them and he got rid of them.
Then, the plaintiff says he bought a Mercedes from the defendant, who he alleges falsified the inspection sticker and sold him a bad warranty. He’s seeking the money for repairs and a new inspection sticker. The defendant says the plaintiff bought a warranty from a third party, and he’s nothing but a scammer. He’s countersuing for defamation and slander.
Plus, the plaintiff says she and the defendant were engaged, but the defendant called off the wedding six months beforehand. She had already bought her dress and paid for the reception hall, so she’s suing for what she spent. The defendant says the plaintiff paid for everything from their joint account, so they’re both out the money.
