Description

The plaintiff says she rented an apartment from the defendant on a month-to-month basis, but he kicked her out with no notice. She’s suing for her security deposit. The defendant says the plaintiff had trouble paying the rent, so he had no option.
The plaintiff says the defendant is his ex-wife. They were friendly — until now. He loaned her money to fix her air-conditioning, but she hasn’t repaid, so he’s suing. The defendant says her ex was a cheater. She claims she repaid most of the loan, but she doesn’t owe the rest because he still owes her for rent. She’s countersuing for outstanding rent.
The plaintiff says he transports vehicles, and he transported one for the defendant. The man refused to pay, it escalated, and the police were called. He’s suing for what he’s owed. The defendant says he paid in full, and then there was an additional charge he was never told about. Plus, he claims the plaintiff damaged the car, so he’s countersuing.
