Description
The plaintiff says the defendant is his sister-in-law. He claims she owes him for household items he left in an apartment and she won’t pay him back, so he’s suing. The defendant says she paid him for some of the items but told him to come pick up a bed she didn’t want, and now he expects her to pay for it.
The plaintiff says she and the defendant used to work together. The defendant invited her to a party with a refundable ticket, and when the plaintiff had to cancel at the last minute, the defendant refused to refund her money. She’s suing for the cost of the ticket and inconvenience. The defendant says the plaintiff sent her a message only two hours before the event started. She’s countersuing for lost wages.
The plaintiff says she rented a house from the defendant for 11 years. Now he’s refusing to return her security deposit, so she wants it back — with interest. The defendant claims the plaintiff stole a fridge, and there were two dead cats and urine-covered floors in the home.
