Description

The plaintiff says he was walking his leashed Yorkie one day and the defendant’s loose dog bit a chunk out of the Yorkie’s ear. He claims the defendant has had multiple tickets for letting his dogs run loose. He’s suing for the cost of vet bills. The defendant says the plaintiff went crazy on him and insists the lawsuit doesn’t make sense.
The plaintiff says she hired the defendant, an architect, to help her prepare for permits to change her home into two dwellings. She was denied because of an oversight by the defendant, so she wants her money back. The defendant says he did the work and only took a non-refundable retainer. He says he offered a solution, but the plaintiff refused.
The plaintiff says the defendant is her mother, who has owed her for loans for years. She’s suing for what she’s due. The defendant says her daughter disrespects her, and she’s not going to take it anymore. She’s countersuing for pain and suffering.
