Description

The plaintiff says she hired the defendant to build a fence around her property to protect her dogs from wildlife. She claims she paid him and he disappeared without finishing the job. She’s suing for her money back. The defendant claims he completed most of the work and says the plaintiff was so paranoid that she followed him to the hospital when he went there for an eye infection. He says he wasn’t paid in full and owes nothing.
Then, the plaintiff had just finished his hardwood floors and scheduled his couch to be delivered. He claims the defendant and the delivery men ruined his newly finished floors, so he’s suing for the cost of repairs. The defendant argues he pointed out a scuff on the floor and even offered to fix it even though he wasn’t sure if he and his men caused it, but the plaintiff refused.
