Description

The plaintiff says the defendant backed his truck up into her bike rack and broke it. She’s suing for the cost of the bike rack. The defendant argues the plaintiff left her bike rack down and it was impossible to see the rack when he was pulling out of his driveway. He says his car was damaged and is countersuing for those costs.
Then, the plaintiff says the defendant’s pit bull bit her and caused lots of pain and injury. She’s suing for medical expenses. The defendants argue the plaintiff put her hand in the middle of their two dogs fighting, which caused the plaintiff to get bitten. They don’t think they owe her anything.
Plus, in the third case, the plaintiff is a long-haul driver and has driven for the defendant. He says the defendant has not paid him after a recent trip. The defendant argues the plaintiff never returned his truck to California like he was supposed to and didn’t log his timecard legally, so he doesn’t think he owes the plaintiff.
