Description

The plaintiff says he hired the defendant to videotape the relocation of his deceased wife’s coffin from one gravesite to another. He claims the man botched the job when he missed the actual transfer, so he’s suing for a refund. The defendant says he’s a private eye and former military man who did everything by the book and deserves to be paid.
Then, the plaintiff says she and the defendant have been friends for 30 years. She says she bought 13 tickets to a Martin Lawrence comedy show that got canceled because of the pandemic, but now her friend won’t give her a refund. The defendant says the show was postponed, not canceled, and the tickets are still good. She’s countersuing for stress.
