Description

The plaintiff alleges that the defendant knowingly sold her a damaged dining room set, so she’s suing the defendant for a refund. The defendant claims the plaintiff’s boyfriend picked up the dining room set using an SUV and scratched it during transport. The defendant denies owing anything.
Then, the plaintiff says he and the defendant worked together as lifeguards, and he loaned her money on numerous occasions. The defendant allegedly won’t pay the plaintiff back, so he’s suing her for the money he says he’s owed. The defendant claims she and the defendant were friends until he made a move and she rebuffed his advances. The defendant insists the money was a gift and she owes him nothing.
