The plaintiff used to be close friends with the defendant. Plus, the plaintiff purchased a car from the defendant. She claims he sold her a faulty car because the check engine light went on the next day, so she’s suing for her money back. The defendant argues the plaintiff test drove the car and liked it, so he doesn’t owe her.
