Description

The plaintiff says he was hired by the defendant to do some painting on her house, but she’s stiffing him on his wages. He’s suing for what he’s owed. The defendant says the plaintiff was subcontracted under a carpenter, so he needs to talk to him. He did a bad job, so she’s countersuing for all the money she has to put out to correct it.
Then, the plaintiff says he was napping in his car on his lunch break when the defendant opened her car door into his vehicle from the next spot over. She told him to get an estimate, but then she ghosted him. He’s suing for the repair cost. The defendant says the plaintiff parks his car there every day, and a bag she was carrying barely brushed his vehicle. She denies causing any damage.
Plus, the plaintiff says he was driving down a four-lane road when the defendant attempted a U-turn. The plaintiff slammed into a car and it was totaled. The police ticketed the defendant, and he’s suing her for the repair cost. The defendant denies she got a ticket, and the police told her he was driving very fast. Not only that, her insurance already paid him.
