Description

The plaintiff says he and the defendant shared an apartment, but his roommate ended up being a crazy slob who fought with him nonstop. He moved out and is suing for outstanding rent and damaged belongings. The defendant claims the plaintiff is a creepy guy who oiled his feet in the living room and even signed them up for a cult. He says the plaintiff moved out, so he owes him nothing.
The plaintiff says she hired the defendant to drive her home after a 35-hour flight from the Philippines. She claims he forgot to latch his trunk, and one of her bags flew out onto the road somewhere. They retraced their steps with no luck finding it, so she’s suing for the value of the items lost. The defendant says the plaintiff is sneaky and can’t be trusted. He alleges she brought all the bags in and then lied that one was missing.
The plaintiff says she applied for a job at the same fast-food restaurant where her sister, the defendant, worked. She claims her sister falsely told the supervisor she had an order of protection against her, so she didn’t get hired. She’s suing her sister for the loss of work. The defendant says her sister mistreated her son, and she can’t understand why she applied at the same location where she worked.
