Description

The plaintiff says the defendant was her landlady, who she claims vindictively kicked her out and even lunged at her when she moved out after 13 years. She says the defendant won’t return her security deposit, so she’s suing. The defendant says she took the plaintiff to housing court to evict her, and she had to be forcibly removed after destroying the house.
Then, the plaintiff says she brought her phone to the defendant to repair a cracked screen, but it didn’t fit right. She says the defendant told her the phone was bent. When she asked for a refund, he told her he would charge a 30 percent “restocking fee,” so she’s suing. The defendant says he did what he could with the damaged phone and claims he offered to install a new frame, but the plaintiff refused.
Plus, The plaintiff says he was holding a friend’s small dog in his arms when he was attacked by the defendants’ large dog. He claims he had to fight him off for a few minutes and ended up with medical expenses as a result. He’s suing for hospital bills and lost wages. The defendants claim their dog bit the little dog but not the plaintiff, who they say refused medical care at the time.
