Description

The plaintiff says he and the defendant have been friends for 30 years. He claims this careless man left the plaintiff’s dog in the back yard. The dog got out, got hit by a car, and died. His friend said he’d pay for the vet bill, but he backed out, so he’s suing him. The defendant claims he was visiting the plaintiff, who he says told him not to leave the dog in the house when he went out because the dog wasn’t potty trained. He feels bad, but the dog escaped through a faulty gate.
The plaintiff says the defendant is her neighbor, who she says helped her out by paying the back taxes on her house. She claims he then made a pass at her and she rebuffed him. He then tossed all her items out of the house and even got rid of her dog. She’s suing for the value of her items. The defendant claims the deal was he would get the house if she didn’t pay him back, and he says she abandoned her things. He’s countersuing for back rent, taxes, and utility bills.
The plaintiff says the defendant plowed into her parked car during a snowstorm and promised to pay for the damages. She claims he then disappeared and changed his number, but she tracked him down. She wants her money, and she’s suing for it. The defendant says she’s taking advantage of him. He claims the accident was minor, and he’s countersuing for his damages.
