He’s countersuing for the amount of the coupon, plus his commission.

He claims the defendant got a refund check from the landlord and then skipped out with the whole thing. He’s suing for what he’s owed. The defendant says the plaintiff backed out and left her in the lurch. She denies owing him anything.
