Description

The plaintiff dated the defendant and they used to live together. The plaintiff says they agreed to split the rent and utility bills, but she never paid, so he’s suing. The defendant argues they never had an agreement. She claims he stole her furniture, so she’s countersuing for the cost of furniture.
Then, the plaintiff took her car to the defendant’s shop to get the transmission fixed. She says her car has been in his shop for a year and she still doesn’t have it back, so she’s suing for the value of her car. The defendant argues he fixed the car but found other problems he needed to fix. He claims she still owes him money, so he’s countersuing for the repair cost.
Plus, the plaintiff and defendant have been friends for a long time. The plaintiff was moving, and the defendant offered to keep his TVs in her storage unit. When he went to pick up his belongings, one of his televisions was missing. He went to the defendant’s house and saw it on her wall. He’s suing for the cost of a TV. The defendant says she took the plaintiff’s TV out of storage and threw it out because the screen was cracked. She doesn’t think she owes him because they’re friends.
