Description

The plaintiff hired the defendant to clean her mother’s house after she passed away. The plaintiff told the defendant her mother had been a hermit, never went outside, and the walls became coated in nicotine, warning her it would be a hard job. The plaintiff says she paid the defendant for three days’ worth of work, but she did a horrible job cleaning the house. She’s suing for her money back. The defendant says the house was disgusting and there was only so much cleaning she could do in a house like that.
Then, the plaintiff says she hired the defendant to install security cameras, but he kept jacking up the price. She’s suing for what she’s owed. The defendant says the plaintiff kept adding to the work and then changed her mind. He also claims she made passes at him and began asking for a refund when he rebuffed her. He says he’s not returning anything.
