Description

The plaintiff says the defendant hired him to produce karaoke at his bar, but when he plugged in his equipment, the defendant’s faulty wiring fried it. He’s suing for the cost of the gear. The defendant says he didn’t hire the plaintiff, who’s a subcontractor. He claims the wiring is fine, and he denies any responsibility.
The plaintiff says she rented an apartment from the defendant’s grandmother, but the defendant decided to do renovations out of the blue and dismantled her kitchen and bathroom for months. She’s suing for mental anguish and missing belongings. The defendant says the plaintiff wasn’t paying rent and was squatting. She claims the plaintiff was asked to vacate several times.
The plaintiff says the defendant was her longtime landscaper, but he damaged the side of her house with his equipment and won’t pay to fix it. She fired him, and now she’s suing him for the cost of the home repairs. The defendants say the damage was old and must have been from her previous landscaper. They offered to fix it, but the plaintiff refused and insisted on all new siding.
