Description

The plaintiff says the defendant is her ex and she loaned him money, but now they’ve split up and he won’t pay her back. She’s suing him for every penny owed. Plus, she has a big surprise for him. The defendant says the plaintiff is a liar and denies she ever loaned him anything. He’s countersuing for a broken door and a TV he says she stole.
Then, the plaintiffs say they hired the defendant to expedite paperwork for some construction for an ailing relative, but the crook took off with their money. He ghosted them and then blamed COVID, so they’re suing for a refund. The defendant says he understands the frustration, but the pandemic is causing the delays.
The plaintiff says the defendants were moving into the building where she lives and they dropped a refrigerator on her car and caused extensive damage. She says they became rude when she showed them the repair estimate, so now she’s suing for the money to cover it. The defendants say the fridge cracked a bumper when it blew over and the plaintiff flipped out when they told her. They insist it was an act of God.
