Description

The plaintiff says she loaned her daughter, the defendant, money to buy a truck and then even more money to cover back rent. Her daughter now refuses to repay, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant claims her mom got a settlement and gifted all her kids with $1,000. She claims the plaintiff is causing her trauma, so she’s countersuing for emotional distress.
Then, the plaintiff says she’s the president of an animal rescue group and she helped mentor the defendant to start her own shelter. She claims she gave the defendant 264 guinea pigs to rehome and was supposed to get $15 for every adoption, but that never happened, so she’s suing. The defendant says the plaintiff is dishonest and forged adoption records and posted false information about her on social media.
Plus, the plaintiff says she brought her car to the defendant, a mechanic, for an air-conditioning repair. She claims when she got the car back, there was a long dent on the side and a mirror was broken. The defendant said he’d fix it but never did, so she’s suing. The defendant says he thinks it got sideswiped and he offered to fix it, but the plaintiff didn’t want to leave the car with him.
