When following common practice, many companies try to develop an overall strategy. The objective is to then develop an execution plan, or tactics, that support the big strategy.But then a lot of companies feel it necessary to make it more complicated by creating an overall corporate vision...then a corporate mission...then strategy...then tactics...the execution...Well okay. That's all well and good, but after spending a considerable amount of time and, possibly, money, what have you got? Do you really have a manageable, executable plan of attack everybody in your company understands?
