About this ebook

The word 'Ullangai' (palm of the hand) can also be characterized to mean the Mind (ULLAM) and the HAND (Kai) of a human being. The Tamil word ULLAM, (transliterated in English script) represents the Mind. Likewise, the Tamil word 'KAI represents the HAND. What one means in his mind could be read through his hand. The mounts and lines seen in one's hand (Palm) clearly indicate the happenings in life (Past, Present and Future). The ancient sages of our country had showed their excellency in the art of palmistry for centuries in the past. By reading there linear markings in palms they could tell the ups and downs in one's life and the ways to better one's prosperity (as read from the markings) and also the safeguarding measures to ward off any ill - predictions. But unfortunately, those sages of the ancient times did train up only a few of their followers, who showed their integrity & affinity towards their masters by adopting GURUKULA VASAM. The extent was limited to GURU - SISHYA bindings alone.

Inspite of these limitations and selfish attitudes, the Art of Palmistry, somehow or other, expanded its base and sooner than later, many countries in the world at large began to taste the benefits accruing from it. In course of time, this art of Palmistry had attained the status attached to Sasthras but also became to be known as a scientific sector. During the 17th/18th Centuries, the science of Palmistry was instituted as one among other important branches of study in LEIPZIG and HALL Universities of Germany.

At the next stage, Palmistry was used for the benefit of fields such as Medicines, Psychology and Sociology. In the country of Greece, Alexander the Great who also happened to be a philosopher, had full faith in Palmistry. Out of fascination he was persuaded to such an extent that he handed over a book on the science of Palmistry to the Great Philosopher of Greece, ARISTOTLE in order that the Great Man would translate that book into Greek language. When printing technology was not in vogue that time, books were written manually in golden letters. The book on 'Palmistry Science' translated into Greek by ARISTOTLE was one of those, manually written. As and when Printing Technology came into being, the book translated by ARISTOTLE was also printed among other manually written ones. It is worth noting that these books including the one translated by ARISTOTLE were the first lot that had been published first and foremost. The same is now being preserved and kept in the British Archeological Centre.

It is also worth noting that a copy of an ancient Book on Palmistry is preserved in one of the PYRAMID Towers in Egypt.

In the Holy Bible (Samuel Chapter) a line of words viz "What is there in my Palm that suggest some evil happening?" could be found.

'Sri Rudhra' Speaks high of the Hand as follows: "This Hand that I possess depicts the real sight of God in entirety. This is more than the Lord himself to me. This serves as medicine to myself and all other living beings. This is the one that touches Lord SHIVA and does the POOJA."

There are lines on the entire human body, of course. One can easily observe such lines on his own feet among all these, the lines appearing in the palms alone are being taken very often for research work. Hence the title 'SCIENTIFIC TRUTH ON PALMISTRY' given to this English version of my creation.

I have dealt with mostly on the general aspects of Palmistry so that they may apply to all religions. This very fact itself will stand by me everlasting, I hope. The courageousness which generated in me from this fact persuades are to request the readers to give their support whole heartedly.

    Findings on research

I express my rejoice over the happy experience I had while going through the book entitled SCIENTIFIC TRUTH ON PALMISTRY. Let me accept the fact that I am a NOVICE as regards the subject matter dealt with by the Author in this book. To be frank, I did not extend my Palm to any one of the palmistry experts in order to know about the virtues / vices in store for me in my future. The Author has taken extraordinary care in bringing out the details contained herein. At a time when the majority of the present new generation as a whole brand the palmistry way of astrology as misdirected reverence, this young Author has boldly construed this subject as an Ancient Treasure and considered it worthwhile to go into the scientific aspects of this field. He has done so with a fair amount of carefulness, which warrants appreciation from all quarters.

It is crystal clear that from the way in which he has detailed the specialities of the apparent lines in the palms and the varying colours of the hands, the respective prospects that are in store for the manhood, we can come to the point that we ourselves could derive certain extent of knowledge about palmistry, more so particularly when we compare our palms with the illustrations shown in the book. The author's efforts in this direction certainly deserve our appreciation.

The lines appearing in one's palm as well as in the thumbs and other fingers have been classified according to their specialities, and qualitative analysis also made thereon with an explicit statement regarding the degree of excellence concerning each line (of good quality, poor in quality etc.)

Tabular statements have also been given wherever needed. I consider, it would be good or better if children under the age of six do not show their inquisitiveness at their early age itself, since it has been stated that the lines in the palms of children would form a regulation for themselves only after the age of six.

This book is one of a rare type containing lots of valuable informations on palmistry. The author Mr. Bitnewsser deserves any amount of appreciation for his full dedication and application of mind for the cause of palmistry. If I raise my palm with spread up fingers, in order to bless the Author, I am afraid, I am mixing politics there into. Hence I prefer to raise my thumb only in bent-back style, i.e. in THUMBS UP fashion.

    Dear Bitnewsser

Bits and pieces of nuances in life add upto success in career. Knowing about oneself is a better art, than to know about others. Ofcourse, it's better to 'Have a start with the man in the mirror'. We all have a mirror of our own that reflects our innerself perfectly, our 'Palms'. Palmistry is one of the foremost forms of astrology and it has developed from it's ancient oriental perceptions into modern western conceptions.

Bitnewsser has given a primary account of Palmistry that desires perusal by both experts and beginners of this art. You are holding a mirror in your hand, not a book, when you hold this creation. May this book bring you all 'Perfect glory' by the grace of 'The Almighty Creator’

Knowledge associate with power of intelligence becomes tenable asset for those who determine to seek it. Any book that aids on any subject is so vital and indispensable in the advance of time.

Palmistry is part of astrological Sastra. In India it is said to be in practice for more than 5000 years. It is almost as old as Vedas. However many were under mistaken notion that this ancient Indian art of astrology was migrated from Greek and partly from China. No doubt there were evidences of this art in practice in those part of the world nearly 1500 years ago. There were traces of study of hand in the region of Persia, Egypt and Rome almost 1000 years ago and continue to be an interesting study. It is said, the great philosopher Anaxagoras not only taught but also practised this study. In the year 1475 work on Palmistry, was brought first time on print in Augsburg by one Mr. Kunst Ciromantia believed to be a Greek.

Author of this book Mr. Bitnewsser has taken a new approach by compiling this ancient Sastra with all modern scientific findings related to palmistry as a whole. The result of his study gave A NEW DIMENSION to this ancient sastra and builds confidence in one's mind that this sastra is no more to be considered as a superstition but to be pursued as an Art and Science. It informs that the predictions of Palmistry are not to be treated as mere presumptions but should be seriously taken as scientific findings.

The adoption of simple language and explanation by number of relevant illustrations by the author clearly expresses his intention to make this book highly useful for all those interested
