Description

The plaintiff hired the defendant, a professional videographer, for a music video she was directing. The plaintiff claims the defendant overstepped his responsibilities and tried to take over her job. She was not happy with the final product, so the plaintiff is suing the defendant for the money she paid him. The defendant says the plaintiff was disorganized the entire time, and she is trying to blame all the problems on the defendant even though he did everything the plaintiff wanted him to do.
Then, the plaintiff rented a room from the defendant, and the day he was supposed to move in, the other tenants told him he couldn’t due to COVID-19 regulations. The defendant refuses to give the plaintiff a refund, so he is suing for the rent money he paid in advance. The defendant claims the plaintiff is the one who backed out of the deal, not him, and it’s not his fault the other tenants were difficult.
Plus, the plaintiff hired and paid the defendant to design and make a wedding dress. However, the plaintiff claims the wedding dress wasn’t delivered in time, and the plaintiff had to leave for Las Vegas for her wedding without a dress, so the plaintiff is suing for a refund. The defendant insists she created and mailed the dress, and according to the tracking number, the dress was delivered to the plaintiff on time. Therefore, the defendant says she doesn’t owe the plaintiff anything.
