Description

The plaintiff, who rented a room from the defendant, claims she asked for more time to pay the rent, and the defendant started yelling and screaming. The plaintiff reportedly called the cops, and she left the house as they instructed her to do. When the plaintiff returned, her couch was allegedly slashed, and her clothes were scattered about on the street, so she’s suing for damaged property. The defendant alleges that the plaintiff trespassed onto her property on numerous occasions, and the plaintiff was violent toward her. The defendant denies owing the plaintiff anything and is countersuing for emotional distress.
Then, the plaintiff paid the defendant to dye her wig for a photo shoot. However, the defendant messed up the job so badly that the plaintiff was fired, so she is suing for a refund. The defendant claims the plaintiff trashed him on social media, harming his reputation with false accusations, so he is countersuing for lost revenue and defamation.
