காலேஜ் விட்டு தனியா வருமா ஓமனே?!

மகளைத் திரும்பித் திரும்பிப் பார்த்தபடி செல்லும் மாதவன் நாயரைப் பற்றி அதிகம் உங்களுக்கு தெரிய வேண்டிய அவசியமில்லை. அவரது செல்ல மகள் ஒரே பெண்-தாயில்லாக் குழந்தை ஓமனாதான் இந்தக் கதையின் நாயகி.
ஓமனா தன் பதினெட்டாவது வயதின் விளிம்பில் பள்ளிப் படிப்பை எர்ணாகுளத்தில் முடித்துவிட்டு, மாதவன் நாயருக்கு சென்னைக்கு மாற்தலாகி விட்டபடியால் இந்தக் கல்லூரியில் இரசாயனம் முதலாம் ஆண்டு சேர்ந்திருக்கிறாள்.

உருக்கிய தங்கத்தை சந்தனத்தில் குழைத்து இளம்: ஜ்வாலையில் காண்பித்தால் தகதகக்கும் நிறம் வருமே... அது இவள் நிறம்.
சந்தன நிறத்தில் கறுப்புப் பூக்கள் சிதறிய சேலை... கறுப்பில் ரவிக்கை...
