Have you ever had a day where you started off great? You had a nice healthy breakfast. Things are going well through lunch. Then in the afternoon you have a few pretzels and realize that puts you over your calories for the day.
Suddenly you’re thinking, “Ugh. I had three pretzel sticks instead of two, and that put me twenty-three calories over my budget. The heck with it. I really wanted potato chips anyway. And while I’m at it (since I’ve already blown it), I might as well have three cupcakes, a half a box of crackers, and three slices of pizza.”
