Description

Calling all “clean eaters”!    If you’ve ever felt like you can’t find a happy medium of eating healthy or not, feel obsessed with eating or not eating certain foods, worried about the contamination of foods, or your list of foods you feel comfortable eating could fit on a post-it note - this episode is for you.   Join me and my guest as we discuss: what is orthorexia, how to recognize signs of this condition, how it interferes with society and restrictive eating patterns, and finally some steps you can take to heal from being obsessed with certain eating patterns and plans.    Mimi is a graduate student in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. She has her BS in Child Development and Medicine, Health, and Society from Vanderbilt University, where she studied educational psychology and social determinants of health, and learned about a weight inclusive, intuitive eating approach to care. Mimi has been featured on over a dozen podcasts and is passionate about orthorexia, obsessive compulsive disorder, and eating disorders.    Connect with our guest:    On Instagram: @the.lovelybecoming Her podcast: The Lovely Becoming Podcast Her website:  www.mimi-cole.com   Looking for support transitioning away from clean eating without feeling out of control?
