Description

Today I'm joined by Amanda Howell, your not-so-average public health professional. Her foray into healthcare started over 10 years ago when she worked in a specialised women’s clinic, and has also worked with Planned Parenthood as well as in public health policy. Like me, Amanda is incredibly passionate about debunking health misinformation and quackery that floats around on the interwebs and instead focuses on empowering women to make choices that are based in evidence. She currently splits her time between health promotion & education as well as nutrition coaching and I’m so excited to have her on today. In this episode we’re going to talk about: Her journey working in health care What evidence-based actually means The biggest myths surrounding women’s health & nutrition Why women should lift and how to gain confidence in the gym Plus the issues surrounding commentary on women’s bodies and what we can do about it You can follow Amanda on Instagram @amandahowellhealth or Twitter @amandahowellmph or check out her websites Brand: www.amandahowellhealth.com Coaching: www.warriorwomanmentality.com If you enjoyed this episode please be sure to: ❤️Subscribe to the podcast so you don't miss an episode! ❤️Leave us a rating and written review ❤️Follow Sarah Liz King on Instagram @sarahlizking ❤️Check out my coaching services on www.sarahlizking.com
