As I shared in my personal episode a couple weeks ago, the road to healing can be long and winding and it can be intimidating to know even where to start when it comes to healing digestive health issues. Should I see a doctor, a dietitian? Should I change what I eat? Is there anything else I can do?I asked the IBS dietitian herself, digestive health and FODMAP expert Charlyn Ooi to come on and share with us where to start when it comes to healing digestive issues in a balanced way- that still includes enjoying food! She specialises in helping women with digestive issues, specifically Irritable Bowel Syndrome and SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth). Charlyn is a Monash Trained FODMAP Dietitian and she has helped over 500 people around the world find relief from frustrating & embarrassing gut problems.
