Her Billionaire Man Book 8 - Conflicted - Olivia Summer

    Blurb

    First-person POV

    Amanda and Craig Vans

We will welcome this child from Tracy and show her the love the Vans have to share. Now that we have a child of our own coming, we decided to bury the hatchet and embrace our future together. But the hell hound, Zachary is back in town, and when he’s around, he brings nothing but fiery emotions.

    Melissa McCarthy

I have just been transferred to the headquarters, and all the privileges I enjoyed at the old branch are gone, as well as the team bond I shared with my co-workers. I not only saw Zach, my best friend’s crazy ex, who was back in town but also one hard task brought me closer to uncovering a secret I should never have stumbled upon, and now I have to work watching my back.

    Zachary Ortega

The Vans family have no idea what I have planned for them; I will take everything they care about just like they did to me, and I was starting with Tracy, their weakest link for now. I will drive a wedge in their marriage until Ama feels too suffocated and crawls out to my side where she belongs, and together, we will be the power couple.

    Tracy’s POV

All I wanted was a quiet life in a new city, with enough cash to raise my kid after losing my old job. The last thing I wanted was to bring my child’s life into the public eye, something that was unavoidable with the controversial Vans family. But if my baby’s daddy would stoop so low as to deny my child’s existence, then I will join hands with his enemy and burn his empire down.

    OR

    3RD PERSON POV

Amanda didn’t break off her marriage vows with Craig, and the arrival of his three-year-old son only drew her closer to embracing her place in the Vans’ empire. Perhaps it was their turn to enjoy the happily ever after, following so much drama, until the news of Zachary hit them, and the expectant couple was again thrown into a state of paranoia.

    Chapter One

    Craig’s POV

I stood at the altar, utterly confused about what to do or say. Every eye in the hall was on me, with fixed accusations about the turn of events.

I had imagined the worst of how my wedding with Mandy might turn out, but never in my wildest dreams had I pictured it happening this way.

Uh, excuse me, son; are you going to merely stand there and stare? Go after her this minute! my mom’s grim voice yelled at me from somewhere in the crowd. My eyes were too teary to make out her face from the already disappointed ones fixed on me. I nodded in compliance and scampered out of the hall.

Each step I took felt heavier than the last, and the hall I had gayly entered barely thirty minutes ago, suddenly felt too far. I didn’t seem to be able to run fast enough.

I saw the door and made my way to it, but it felt farther the more I ran until I felt a hand on my shoulder.

When I turned around, it was John.

I got you, he said, smiling at me.

I didn’t say anything to him, I merely gave him my hand, and he pulled me along.

    We arrived at the door,
