Craig’s POV

The drive from the hospital to the house reminded me of the old days with Mandy, when we used to be at each other’s throats about control of the pharmaceutical company. And now she was sitting beside me, married to me and carrying my child.

Amanda is eight weeks gone; congratulations to you guys, and see you at the Antenatal Center.

This was exactly what the matron had said after conducting a test to confirm the news. I hugged Mandy and kissed her proudly before we left the hospital. She got registered for her private sessions befitting of being a Vans. She was family now.

Then, an idea crossed my mind; Mandy needed the estate now more than ever. Though she had agreed to move in when I suggested it, we had not discussed it again since that day.

My love? I called out, giving her hand a quick, gentle squeeze.
