Her Billionaire Man Book6 - denial - Olivia Summer

    Blurb

    Third person POV

In the chaos of the paternity fraud, Amanda Smith had been tricked into selling off her pharmaceutical company shares. Rita Saxon had denied involvement since she was battling a problem of her own until the actual culprit showed up. Zachary Ortega, Amanda’s ex, is hell-bent on getting into his revenge-driven plan. The couple is again thrown into another fiasco trying to beat this hurdle that never seems to stop on their path to happily ever after.

    Or

    Amanda Smith’s POV

I never signed over the sales of my shares in the pharmaceuticals and was willing to dig into the depth of this new hurdle  until I found out who was behind it all. When it came to my ex, Zachary Ortega, there was no limit to the havoc he could wreak. With Craig away in Paris, I had foolhardily agreed to a meeting to resolve our past issues, but I realized too late that I had walked into Zac’s abduction plan. Who was I not to believe Zac was a changed man? And would I ever see my billionaire man again? Was happily ever after really even my thing?

    Craig Vans’ POV

Rita was dying and she needed me by her side; I couldn’t refuse that call. The mistake I made was going after Rita when I should have been by my bride’s side fighting with her and for her. I saw through Rita’s manipulations eventually and came back to New York only to discover my future bride was missing, and no one seemed to know where she was. I hoped I had not arrived too late to rescue her from the maniac who was capable of anything to get his revenge; that was the only way I would ever be able to forgive myself.

    Chapter One

    Amanda’s POV

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhh…

My phone kept ringing as I hurried from the resort’s hallway with fresh warm tears streaming down my rosy cheeks. I had never felt more betrayed in my life. Craig was making love truly a hassle, and I had gotten too deep into the Vans family to back off.

How could he! I repeated as I fumbled around in my bag for my phone. It was still ringing, making it the sixteenth time he had called since I left him in the room. I swiped the screen and declined his call, frantically dialing Melissa, my best friend's number, instead.

She didn’t answer even after the third ring. I knew she must be with her boyfriend like we had planned, but now I had to go back to the weekend arrangement. I tried one more time and gave up when she didn’t answer. She would return my calls when she could, but I just needed someone safe to talk to at the moment, and she was the only one in the world a poor orphan like me had in her corner.

I tossed the phone into my bag and increased my pace when I got out of the building and onto the road. It was too early to get a cab in this part of town.

I heard my phone ringing, and thinking it was Melissa finally calling back, I grabbed it from my bag.

Shit! I sighed, realizing it was Craig.

    What? I
