    Roast

    Herb-Roasted Chicken

    Serves4

    Preparation Time15 minutes

    Total Time1 hour 30 minutes

    Ingredients:

    −  1 whole chicken (about 4 pounds)

    −  2 tablespoons olive oil

    −  2 teaspoons dried thyme

    −  1 teaspoon dried rosemary

    −  1 teaspoon dried oregano

    −  Salt and pepper to taste

    Instructions:

    Set the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C).

    Rinse the chicken and pat it dry.

    Combine olive oil, salt, pepper, dried thyme, rosemary, and oregano in a small bowl.

    Use the herb mixture to rub the chicken all over, including the skin.

    Put the chicken in a roasting pan and bake it in the hot oven for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until it reaches a temperature of 165°F (74°C) inside.

    Wait a few minutes before cutting the chicken.

    Roasted Turkey Breast

    −  2 pounds boneless turkey breast

    −  2 tablespoons olive oil

    −  2 teaspoons dried thyme

    −  1 teaspoon dried sage

    −  1 teaspoon garlic powder

    −  Salt and pepper to taste

    Instructions:

    Set the oven temperature to 325°F (165°C).

    Sprinkle spices and olive oil on the turkey breast.

    Set the turkey breast in a roasting pan and wrap it in foil.

    Roast for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

    To brown the skin, take off the foil and roast the food for 15 more
