Description

The plaintiff was taking her dog for a walk one day when the defendants’ two Rottweilers attacked her dog. She says her dog had to undergo emergency surgery and spent four days in the ICU. She says the defendants refuse to apologize, so she’s suing for vet bills. One of the defendants argue the plaintiff’s dog bit her. The defendants are countersuing for pain and suffering and medical bills.
The plaintiff brought his car to the defendant’s garage to get work done on his car because it started overheating. He claims one of the defendant’s workers damaged his car, so he’s suing for property damage. The defendant argues the plaintiff didn’t pay the full amount on the bill. He claims the plaintiff only started complaining about the damage when the defendant asked about the money owed.
The plaintiffs are a husband, wife, and their daughter. The parents say their daughter rented the defendant’s home for four years while she was in college. The father says he installed new lights in the house, but now the defendant is withholding the security deposit. They’re suing for their money back. The defendant argues the plaintiffs removed the lights when the daughter moved out, even though the defendant says he owns the lights because they were installed on his property. He claims the dad damaged the residence when he ripped the lights out.
