Description

"He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him." (John 1:11)Jesus has always existed and He has always had a unique role in the Trinity. That's what we call the three persons of the one true God,: Father, Son, and Spirit. One of Jesus' roles connects uniquely with the physical realm. He's the means by which God came down to Earth, to live among mankind, to show us what God is like and to pay for our sins, since our sin debt far exceeds what we could ever pay. But when Jesus came to Earth, He wasn't well received. It turns out people don't like hearing that they're sinners who need a savior or that they're accountable to a holy God. So many people rejected His message and mocked His death on the cross. They missed out on knowing God. I'm so grateful He came to Earth and that we get to know Him even 2000 years later because He is where the joy is!
