"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." - John 1:9This section of the book of John is talking about who Jesus is. He has always existed long before He was born in a manger in Bethlehem. God's plan was to connect Heaven and Earth by sending Jesus, who is fully God and fully man, to rescue His kids from their sins. The Book of Revelation says this was the plan before the Earth was even made. God, the son, left Heaven for Earth to be born as a baby named Jesus. He came to bring the light of salvation to fallen humanity. He came to rescue you and me from all our sin and brokenness, bridging the gap between God and His kids. You and I were lost in the dark until he found us and thank God He found us because He is where the joy is!
