Description
"If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?" Matthew 6:30 In this verse, Jesus and his followers are sitting on one of the rolling green hills along the Sea of Galilee and He makes this grand statement about the Father's provision using the landscape as evidence. I picture him sweeping his arm across the field and saying, "Look, you guys see this grass? God pays attention to every blade of it, every tiny slice of his creation. So don't doubt for a second that he's paying attention to you." Then Jesus invents a word, and it shows up five times in scripture, but nowhere else outside of scripture. It basically translates to 'little faiths' and it reads kind of like a term of endearment. Oh, little faiths, your Father is so much better than you know. Trust Him, He is where the joy is!
