Description
"Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God — children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God." (John 1:12-13)Jesus has a distinct role in the Trinity, which is made up of the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. Jesus' roles connect uniquely with the physical realm and He is the means by which God came down to Earth. This was to live among mankind and to show us what God is like and to pay our sin debt. But when Jesus came to Earth, many people rejected his message and marked His death on the cross. But there's great news for anyone who does believe that Jesus is God and that is that He alone paid the debt for their sins. Those people are the people that God adopts into His eternal family because we believe in Jesus' death and resurrection. We have the unique distinction of being God's kids. What a gift! He where the joy is!
