"Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people. He also divided the two fish among them all. They all ate and were satisfied," (Mark 6:41-42) Jesus has been teaching a crowd and when dinner time approaches, He tells the disciples they're in charge of the meal. They scrounge up some food and bring it to Jesus, but it's very little. But Jesus is God, so He has power over creation. In fact, Colossians 1 says He's the one who made everything so he can certainly make more of it anytime he wants. By His divine power, He takes these seven things and multiplies them so that everyone's needs are met. As if being taught by Jesus wasn't enough! He also feeds them and they get to witness a miracle we still talk about today. He's so generous and he's where the joy is!
