Description

"You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows." (Psalm 23:5) God doesn't just protect us from our enemies, He blesses us in front of them. Plus, in scripture, anointing something with oil is the way you set it apart and mark it for holy use. It symbolizes the Holy Spirit. God has anointed all his kids. We're set apart for his holy purposes. That means your day isn't without meaning. You are an anointed child of the king, marked by the presence of his Holy Spirit. If you know God, you are anointed and your cup is overflowing. On top of that, He invites us to feast in his presence, which is the best news of all, because he is where the joy is!
