Description
"What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31)This is part of Paul's letter to the Christians in Rome who were experiencing severe persecution because they refuse to worship the Roman Emperor. They faced beatings and imprisonment and even tortured deaths. But Paul says God is working out His very good plan through their trials. Paul said God chose us, called us to himself, and declared us righteous despite our sin. He uses our trials to conform us to the image of His Son, Jesus. That means our future is sealed and secure! Nothing contorts God's plan to redeem His kids. No enemy whether it's as big and powerful as Rome or a seemingly small as the sin pattern can separate us from Him. You are His and He's where the joy is!
