Description

The plaintiff rented a car for the defendant, who allegedly blacked out while driving and crashed the vehicle. The plaintiff claims the defendant won’t pay for the repairs, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant alleges that her paycheck is being garnished weekly to pay off the damages, and the plaintiff is suing for money the rental company is already taking out. The defendant is countersuing for half of the damages to the rental car.
Then, the plaintiff says he worked for the defendant on his basketball team for a few days. The plaintiff has been waiting more than six months for his paycheck, so he is suing for unpaid wages. The defendant alleges that the plaintiff was just an intern. There was no agreement he would be paid.
Plus, the plaintiff says her dog was viciously attacked by the defendant’s out-of-control pit bull. The dog hasn’t been the same since the attack, so she’s suing for the vet bills. The defendant argues that his leashed dog noticed the plaintiff’s unleashed dog, and when he ran over, a fight ensued. The defendant alleges that the plaintiff’s dog is the one who initiated the fight.
