Description
The plaintiff hired the defendant to fix his roof and install a new one. He claims the defendant subcontracted out to people who had no idea what they were doing, and it came out terribly. It didn’t even pass a home inspection. He’s suing for the cost to repair the roof. The defendant argues he did a great job and even gave the plaintiff a good deal.
Then, the plaintiff bought a motorcycle from the defendant. He says there was a broken chain that he thinks the defendant glued back together. The motorcycle started dripping oil and the engine had issues, which he claims the defendant hid from him. He’s suing for the cost of a bike repair estimate. The defendant argues the bike sat around for several years before he sold it. He says he doesn’t know what the plaintiff did with the bike between the time he bought it and sued him.
Plus, the plaintiff crashed into the defendant after he made a left turn when the plaintiff was going straight and had the right of way. She hit the defendant, who then crashed into another vehicle. The plaintiff says the defendant didn’t have enough on his insurance policy so pay her, so she’s suing for what she’s owed. The defendant argues the plaintiff was speeding when she crashed into him.
