Description
Do you ever feel like its weight loss is not fair? Like you just wish you could eat like every one else? In this episode we discuss victim mentality when it comes to weight loss. I show you how to take your power back when your husband is eating your favorite food in front of you, what to do in social situations and how keto is always a choice that we can either make or not. I share how thinking differently about your weight loss experience is like a muscle that has to be strengthened. I talk about eating off plan and eating too much and how you cant start today to change your relationship to keto forever by becoming aware of the process your brain goes through when desiring food. I share a few tools that help in this episode. One is tracking urges. You can do this in a notebook, on your phone or using an urge jar (jar + 100 marbles to add for each urge). When we feel an urge to eat something off plan we track it. In time you will have collected urges that you left unanswered and be able to give your brain the reward of accomplishment. The other is a worksheet that you can use anytime you go off plan or overeat. It will assist you in bringing awareness to what you are doing. It also helps you make a plan for the future if you face the same obstacle again. The point is to write it down, complete it, and then move on- giving it no more thought. Download here!
